Juan Leon vs Alfonso Quijada

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Carolina promoted show at Carolina Vara, Carolina,  taking place on 17/07/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Leon (14(9) - 1) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Alfonso Quijada(10 - 13 - 2) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  Both Leon and Quijada weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Velazquez, and the three ringside judges are Oro Palomar, Oihane Cifuentes and Joaquin Velazquez.  

Round 1: 

Quijada steps inside.  Leon is on target with a firm right hook.  Leon ties up his opponent.  Quijada leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Leon pushes his forearm into Quijada's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Leon to stop fouling.  
Leon is looking to keep his distance and connects with a firm cross.

Leon lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Leon lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Leon hits home with a hard jab.

Quijada is looking to close the distance.  Quijada sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Leon drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Leon holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Leon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Leon tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Leon snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Leon lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Leon switches the action to the outside.  Leon contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Quijada throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Leon lands a jab to the head, a cross to the body and a cross to the head.  
Leon lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Quijada walks Leon onto the ropes.  Quijada is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Leon lands a cross.  
Quijada is looking to close the distance.  Leon throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Leon hits home with a sharp cross.  
Leon hits home with an overhand left.  
Leon connects with a cross.  
Leon lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Leon tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab.  
Leon lands two straights followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Leon tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Quijada quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Leon connects with a cross.  
Leon is looking to keep his distance.  Leon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Leon lands an overhand left followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Leon lands a jab to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Quijada almost instantly gets his legs back.

Leon steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  Leon tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Leon's body.

Quijada gets on the inside.  Leon lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Leon steps to the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.
