Colombo Caira vs Gethin Resendez

Boxing Daily Report from the Spinger Boxing Club promoted show at El Maida Shrine Auditorium, El Paso,  taking place on 14/07/2030:

Clearly Spinger Boxing Club have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Colombo Caira (13(1) - 0) who hails from New York City, USA and Gethin Resendez(2 - 3 - 3) from Tampa, USA.  Both Caira and Resendez weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Lopez, and the three ringside judges are Greg Speed, Arthur Kinna and Robert Corfield.  

Round 1: 

Caira lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Caira steps inside.  Caira sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Caira advances into close range.  Caira quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.

Resendez throws a left hook, but Caira ties up his opponent.  Caira tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Resendez's kidney. Caira pushes his forearm into Resendez's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Caira.  
Resendez is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Caira on the ropes.  Resendez sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Resendez throws a left uppercut, but Caira ties up his opponent.  Caira is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Caira closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Caira leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Resendez steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
