Marjun Mederos vs Asif Tariq

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Infinity Insurance Park, Miami,  taking place on 20/07/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marjun Mederos (15(5) - 0) who hails from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba and Asif Tariq(8 - 13 - 3) from Phoenix, USA.  Both Mederos and Tariq weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brett Arthur, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Trevino, Juan Molina and Chris Villalta.  

Round 1:

Mederos is looking to keep his distance.  Mederos senses Tariq is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Mederos drives a powerful right uppercut into his opponents body.  TARIQ HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.
