Volney Meetze vs Jakob Achter

Boxing Daily Report from the Falcon Promotion promoted show at Bochum Scheck, Bochum,  taking place on 12/07/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Germany-North Rhine-Westphalia Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Volney Meetze (16 - 13(2) - 4) who hails from Duisburg, Germany and Jakob Achter(14 - 18(1) - 4) from Wuppertal, Germany.  Meetze weighed in at 243 pounds and 15 ounces, while Achter weighed in at 238 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ivo Saltzer, and the three ringside judges are Dieter Scheideman, Roch Geitner and Andreas Strebe.  

Round 1: 

Meetze attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Achter time to recover.
