John Cecil vs Robert Parry

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Convention Center, Albuquerque,  taking place on 25/07/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are John Cecil (5(1) - 0) who hails from Portsmouth, UK and Robert Parry(0 - 1 - 1) from Norfolk, USA.  Both Cecil and Parry weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Carmen, and the three ringside judges are Jacob Yuille, Josh Waddell and Ashley Herriott.  

Round 1: 

Parry sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cecil drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Cecil lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Cecil throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Cecil holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cecil pushes his forearm into Parry's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cecil is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cecil feints a cross, tricking Parry into countering with a left uppercut.  Cecil springs the trap, countering with  a stinging cross.  
Cecil sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Parry throws a right hook, but Cecil ties up his opponent.  Cecil pushes his forearm into Parry's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cecil drives a stinging right hook into Parry's body.  
Cecil lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Cecil clinches his opponent.  Cecil pushes his forearm into Parry's face.  The ref breaks Cecil's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Parry throws a right uppercut, but Cecil clinches his opponent.  Cecil leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Cecil uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Parry behind the head. 
Cecil lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Cecil clinches his opponent.  Cecil throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Cecil leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cecil lands a right hook.  
Cecil lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Parry pivots to the right of his opponent.  Cecil throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Cecil clinches his opponent.  Cecil is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cecil lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Parry sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Cecil is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Cecil hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Cecil lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Parry's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Parry's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Cecil walks Parry into the corner.  Cecil drives a solid left hook into Parry's body.  
Cecil lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Parry throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Cecil closes the distance.  Parry throws a left uppercut, but Cecil ties up his opponent.  Cecil leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Cecil pushes his forearm into Parry's face.  The ref breaks Cecil's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
