Obaid Ahmad vs Ricky Bedwei

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Northern Ghana promoted show at Tamale Quainoo, Tamale,  taking place on 20/07/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Northern Ghana Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Obaid Ahmad (6 - 7) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and Ricky Bedwei(6 - 2) from Tamale, Ghana.  Ahmad weighed in at 140 pounds, while Bedwei weighed in at 139 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tamarius Moyoyo, and the three ringside judges are Nabulung Akamenya, Gazi Satter and Nabulung Akamenya.  

Round 1: 

Bedwei lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Ahmad switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Ahmad pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ahmad throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Bedwei's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
