Mark Njonjo vs Mahdi Kinyatti

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Machakos promoted show at Athi River Karim, Athi River,  taking place on 23/06/2030:

Clearly AI Kenya-Machakos have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Machakos Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Njonjo (8(1) - 1) who hails from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya and Mahdi Kinyatti(7 - 8 - 7) from Machakos, Kenya.  Both Njonjo and Kinyatti weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Imran Rahman, and the three ringside judges are Ian Kahiu, Hugh Wanja and Noah Komon.  

Round 1: 

Kinyatti steps away from his opponent.  Njonjo feints a left, and then lands a solid cross to Kinyatti's body.
