Ian Bankes vs John Magee

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Alabama promoted show at Kris Jerden Gym, Huntsville,  taking place on 23/07/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Alabama Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Bankes (8 - 14(1) - 3) who hails from Birmingham, USA and John Magee(13 - 0) from Birmingham, USA.  Bankes weighed in at 140 pounds, while Magee weighed in at 139 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brin Prentis, and the three ringside judges are Sam Ireland, Louis Garrow and Mark Bringhurst.  

Round 1: 

Magee throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Magee closes the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bankes's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Bankes's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Bankes's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Magee pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.
