Jerrold Chico vs Alejandro Lozano

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Los Gym, San Jose,  taking place on 17/07/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jerrold Chico (5(1) - 0) who hails from Masaya, Nicaragua and Alejandro Lozano(2 - 3) from San Miguel, El Salvador.  Both Chico and Lozano weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reynaldo Lujano, and the three ringside judges are Tadzio Karp, Agapetus Magdaleno and Hernan Lovato.  

Round 1: 

Chico lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Chico is on target with a right uppercut.  
Chico is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  Chico ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Chico pushes his forearm into Lozano's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Lozano throws a left hook, but Chico ties up his opponent.  Chico pushes his forearm into Lozano's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Chico to stop fouling.

Lozano throws a right hook, but Chico clinches his opponent.  Chico is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Chico tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Lozano's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Chico steps inside.  Lozano tries to land a left hook, but Chico blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lozano lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Chico lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lozano's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
