Mike Chimera vs Bruce Mazee

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Kikuyu Gatheru, Kikuyu,  taking place on 24/07/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Kiambu Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mike Chimera (15 - 7 - 2) who hails from Kikuyu, Kenya and Bruce Mazee(8 - 5 - 2) from Kikuyu, Kenya.  Both Chimera and Mazee weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Nanji, and the three ringside judges are Amon Itote, Elliot Icharia and Adam Aggett.  

Round 1: 

Mazee pivots to the side of his opponent.  Chimera connects with a cross.
