David Barfoot vs Mason McWhirter

Boxing Daily Report from the Darko Promotions promoted show at Gareth Rankin Gym, Nashville,  taking place on 24/07/2030:

Clearly Darko Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Tennessee Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Barfoot (2 - 1) who hails from Nashville, USA and Mason McWhirter(6 - 11(2) - 3) from Nashville, USA.  Barfoot weighed in at 108 pounds, while McWhirter weighed in at 107 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Barrett, and the three ringside judges are Paul Loudon, Billy Dey and Kris Breck.  

Round 1: 

Barfoot steps inside and drives a stinging right hook into McWhirter's ribs.  
Barfoot closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Barfoot sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Barfoot lands a left hook.  Barfoot clinches his opponent.  Barfoot pushes his forearm into McWhirter's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Barfoot.

Barfoot lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
McWhirter steps away from his opponent.  Barfoot hits home with a sharp cross.  
Barfoot closes the distance and lands a right hook.
