Joshua Carrithers vs Kian Mahaffy

Boxing Daily Report from the Juicebox Promotions promoted show at Mark Kenley Gym, Surrey,  taking place on 25/07/2030:

Clearly Juicebox Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-British Columbia Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joshua Carrithers (1 - 9 - 9) who hails from Surrey, Canada and Kian Mahaffy(13 - 9(1) - 3) from Burnaby, Canada.  Carrithers weighed in at 120 pounds and 15 ounces, while Mahaffy weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Wark, and the three ringside judges are Connor Blakely, Alec Aitken and Alec Aitken.  

Round 1: 

Mahaffy attempts to land a cross, but Carrithers sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mahaffy cuts off the ring, trapping Carrithers in the corner.  Carrithers throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
