Robert Roose vs Jax Ortiz

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas,  taking place on 10/08/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the WRBO Intercontinental Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Robert Roose (27 - 8(3)) who hails from Phoenix, USA and Jax Ortiz(20 - 13(4) - 3) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Roose and Ortiz weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vincent Ovens, and the three ringside judges are David Finnie, Ellis Slight and Danny Doctor.  

Round 1: 

Roose pivots to the right of his opponent.  Roose attempts to land a left uppercut, but Ortiz blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
