Ibrahim Mattar vs Jay Morrice

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 14/09/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ibrahim Mattar (21(10) - 4(4)) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Jay Morrice(18 - 1) from Lowell, USA.  Mattar weighed in at 104 pounds and 14 ounces, while Morrice weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Summerfield, and the three ringside judges are Zafa Rafiq, Dai Kerwood and Barry Sabado.
