Owen Merrick vs Daniel Hesson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Kentucky promoted show at View Pointe Hall, Louisville,  taking place on 02/08/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Merrick (22(6) - 8 - 1) who hails from Lexington, USA and Daniel Hesson(12 - 10 - 3) from Louisville, USA.  Merrick weighed in at 160 pounds, while Hesson weighed in at 159 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Erskin, and the three ringside judges are Michael Harkins, Michael Balderston and Dave Southerland.  

Round 1: 

Merrick steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Merrick clinches his opponent.  Merrick pushes his forearm into Hesson's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Merrick about fouling.
