Bradley Mukondiwa vs Kabonero Alimenda

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, Bulawayo,  taking place on 23/09/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Bulawayo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bradley Mukondiwa (7(5) - 0) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Kabonero Alimenda(9 - 11 - 3) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Both Mukondiwa and Alimenda weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is George Chimutengwende, and the three ringside judges are Arran Sibanda, Leighton Van den Bergh and Cody Kumbula.  

Round 1: 

Mukondiwa advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  Mukondiwa clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mukondiwa pushes his forearm into Alimenda's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mukondiwa.

Alimenda gets on the inside and forces Mukondiwa to retreat onto the ropes.  Mukondiwa lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body. The ref breaks Mukondiwa's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Mukondiwa is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Mukondiwa drives a telling right hook into his opponents ribs.  DOWN GOES ALIMENDA!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Mukondiwa whips in a nasty right hook to his opponents body.  ALIMENDA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Alimenda now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Alimenda is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Alimenda pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mukondiwa lands a right uppercut.  
Mukondiwa lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Mukondiwa senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Alimenda and just needs the right shot.  Mukondiwa lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS ALIMENDA DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Mukondiwa!
