Rehman Drid vs Asif Lagab

Boxing Daily Report from the Sh4rk promoted show at Algiers Tedjar, Algiers,  taking place on 14/08/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Algeria Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal Algérie, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rehman Drid (19(2) - 9) who hails from Algiers, Algeria and Asif Lagab(13 - 12(3) - 3) from Algiers, Algeria.  Both Drid and Lagab weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mohsin Kateb, and the three ringside judges are Farhan Merah, Majid Laouzai and Amer Belmellat.  

Round 1: 

Drid gets on the inside and connects with a sharp left hook.  Drid clinches his opponent.  Drid pushes his forearm into Lagab's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Drid about fouling.  
Drid lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Drid closes the distance and lands a sharp left hook.  Drid holds on to his opponent.  Drid is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lagab throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lagab tries to land a cross, but Drid sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Lagab steps to the outside.  Drid lands a cross.  
Drid closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Drid digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Drid holds on to his opponent.  Drid throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Lagab pivots to the right of his opponent.  Drid attempts to land a left uppercut, but Lagab blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Drid lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Drid clinches his opponent.  Drid uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Lagab's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Drid.  
As Drid tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lagab dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Drid gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Drid tries to land a left hook, but Lagab slips the shot and counters with a cross.
