Hilario Canas vs Diego Tejada

Boxing Daily Report from the martinez promoted show at Diego Villela Gym, Buenos Aires,  taking place on 14/08/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Buenos Aires Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hilario Canas (12 - 11 - 2) who hails from Mar del Plata, Argentina and Diego Tejada(4 - 3 - 3) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Canas weighed in at 224 pounds, while Tejada weighed in at 241 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Manas, and the three ringside judges are Cisco Leano, Pedro Ledesma and Larenzo Garcia.  

Round 1: 

Tejada steps inside.  Canas pivots to the right of his opponent.  Tejada attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Canas's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Tejada closes the distance.  As Tejada tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Canas dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Tejada closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Canas finds the target with a jab.  
Tejada lands a cross.  
Tejada steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Canas digs in a left hook to Tejada's ribs.  
Tejada pivots to the left of his opponent.  Canas lands a right hook.  
Tejada advances into close range.  Canas pivots to the side of his opponent.  Tejada is on target with a left hook.  
Tejada connects with a left uppercut.

That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
