Kolby Hamberg vs Canute Kirk

Boxing Daily Report from the Awoonor Promotions promoted show at Roskilde Roed, Roskilde,  taking place on 17/07/2030:

Clearly Awoonor Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Denmark-Region Sjaelland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kolby Hamberg (14(4) - 0) who hails from Roskilde, Denmark and Canute Kirk(9 - 13(1) - 7) from Roskilde, Denmark.  Hamberg weighed in at 134 pounds And 13 ounces, while Kirk weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Knute Stenberg, and the three ringside judges are Norb Osterlund, Igor Leth and Dyre Bissen.  

Round 1: 

Hamberg gets on the inside.  Kirk throws a left hook, but Hamberg holds on to his opponent.  Hamberg pushes his forearm into Kirk's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hamberg.  
Hamberg switches the action to the outside and drives a jab into Kirk's body.  
Hamberg quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Hamberg closes the distance and connects with a solid right hook.  
Hamberg switches the action to the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Hamberg drives a sharp left hook into Kirk's ribs.  
Hamberg lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hamberg steps inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Hamberg holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kirk pushes his forearm into Hamberg's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kirk to stop fouling.

Hamberg lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Kirk throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.

Hamberg advances into close range.  Hamberg quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Hamberg lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kirk's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kirk's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Hamberg is on target with a right hook.  As Hamberg tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kirk dabs at his face checking for damage.  Kirk has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Hamberg lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hamberg tries to land a jab, but Kirk slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Hamberg lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Hamberg manages to force Kirk into the corner.  Hamberg lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hamberg connects with a HUGE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE KIRK WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kirk recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
