Max Gemmell vs Jasper Dobbie

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Bayou Event Center, Houston,  taking place on 31/08/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Max Gemmell (12(4) - 0) who hails from Fort Smith, USA and Jasper Dobbie(10(6) - 3 - 2) from Wichita, USA.  Both Gemmell and Dobbie weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Ferrera, and the three ringside judges are Henry Messer, Chris Suit and Leon Zamorano.  

Round 1: 

Dobbie advances into close range.  Dobbie is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  As Gemmell tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dobbie dabs at his face checking for damage.  Dobbie has taken some damage there.  That has caused nasty swelling  around the left eye.

Gemmell steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab to Dobbie's body.
