Eoin McIver vs Brandon Shine

Boxing Daily Report from the MCK MARBELLA promoted show at National Basket Ball Arena, Dublin,  taking place on 05/10/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Eoin McIver (11 - 5(2) - 2) who hails from Limerick, Ireland and Brandon Shine(8 - 12(2) - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  McIver weighed in at 117 pounds And 7 ounces, while Shine weighed in at 116 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dan McCorquodale, and the three ringside judges are Roy Spalding, Leon Finnin and Lee Donnell.  

Round 1: 

McIver connects with a cross.  
McIver advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
McIver steps inside.  McIver pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.

McIver lands a solid left hook.  McIver ties up his opponent.  McIver pushes his forearm into Shine's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McIver about fouling.  
Shine is looking to keep his distance.  Shine drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  McIver lands a jab.  
Shine pivots from in front of his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.  
McIver steps inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.

McIver lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING SHINE TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is McIver!
