Boxing Daily Report from the Marco Boogers promoted show at Giza Plateaux, Giza,  taking place on 27/09/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Middle East Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nile Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Farhan Shahidi (17(12) - 0) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Rashid Zaher(23 - 8(4)) from Al Ain, UAE.  Shahidi weighed in at 236 pounds and 6 ounces, while Zaher weighed in at 226 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Amer Mir, and the three ringside judges are Azam Labib, Umair Khaleel and Amer Racid.  

Round 1: 

Shahidi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Shahidi switches the action to the outside and lands a spiteful jab.  
Shahidi advances into close range.  Zaher attempts to land a left hook, but Shahidi blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to Zaher's liver.  
Shahidi is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws an overhand left, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Shahidi advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Shahidi ties up his opponent.  Shahidi pushes his forearm into Zaher's face.  The referee warns Shahidi and breaks the clinch.  
Shahidi lands a cross, jab and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Shahidi steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Shahidi lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Shahidi hits home with a stinging cross.  Shahidi attempts to land a cross, but Zaher slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Shahidi hits home with a firm cross.  Shahidi tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Zaher walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Zaher lands a cross.  
Shahidi tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left, cross and a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Zaher almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Shahidi lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Zaher pivots to the side of his opponent.  Shahidi lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Shahidi is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand left, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Shahidi steps inside.  Shahidi is looking to force the stoppage!  Shahidi lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head, AND ZAHER IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Zaher lands a cross.  Zaher now seems to have his senses back.  
Shahidi tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a sharp jab.  
Shahidi is on target with a stinging cross.  
Shahidi is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Shahidi tries to step out of his opponents range.  Shahidi feints a right hook, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS ZAHER!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Shahidi!
