Azam Pervez vs Waleed Kamara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Johor promoted show at Johor Bahru Deeb, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 27/08/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Azam Pervez (15 - 13(4) - 1) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Waleed Kamara(31(22) - 13(12)) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Pervez and Kamara weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Sabet, and the three ringside judges are Khalid Hamidi, Rehan Sabet and Obaid Diab.  

Round 1: 

Pervez switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Kamara sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Pervez gets on the inside.  Kamara lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Kamara ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kamara pushes his forearm into Pervez's face.  The referee warns Kamara and breaks the clinch.  
Pervez is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Pervez tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Kamara steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Kamara holds on to his opponent.  Kamara uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Pervez behind the head. The referee warns Kamara and breaks the clinch.  
Pervez is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kamara lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Kamara clinches his opponent.  Kamara leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kamara pivots from in front of his opponent.  Pervez connects with a left uppercut.  
Kamara quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head, AND KNOCKS PERVEZ DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Pervez almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Pervez steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Kamara steps inside and forces Pervez to back into the corner.  Kamara pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kamara lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kamara ties up his opponent.  Pervez pushes his forearm into Kamara's face.  The referee warns Pervez and breaks the clinch.  Pervez almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kamara lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Kamara holds on to his opponent.  Kamara leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kamara is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Kamara lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Kamara ties up his opponent.  Kamara is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Kamara pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a big right hook.  PERVEZ IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Kamara lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Kamara ties up his opponent.  Kamara tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Pervez behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kamara to stop fouling.  
Pervez is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Kamara is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  Kamara ties up his opponent.  Kamara uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Pervez's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kamara to stop fouling.  
Kamara forces Pervez to back into a corner.  Kamara lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Pervez almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kamara pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pervez's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Pervez's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Kamara pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Kamara digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Pervez wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kamara dabs at his face checking for damage.
