Hope Lamidi vs Chigozie Ezeonu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-FCT promoted show at Rabiu Silva Gym, Abuja,  taking place on 27/08/2030:

Clearly AI Nigeria-FCT have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-FCT Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hope Lamidi (13 - 15 - 3) who hails from Abuja, Nigeria and Chigozie Ezeonu(7 - 11 - 1) from Abuja, Nigeria.  Lamidi weighed in at 235 pounds And 3 ounces, while Ezeonu weighed in at 232 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Shehu Datti, and the three ringside judges are Chima Obiefule, Bright Madaki and Bright Madaki.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Lamidi has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
