Dai Kimmey vs Aaron Ngawharau

Boxing Daily Report from the Slick Rick Promotions promoted show at Auckland Minarapa, Auckland,  taking place on 28/08/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dai Kimmey (17(3) - 0) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Aaron Ngawharau(9 - 16(2) - 2) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Kimmey and Ngawharau weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blake Brown, and the three ringside judges are Kahorere Hakaipari, Declan Haturini and Lloyd Rease.  

Round 1: 

Kimmey advances into close range.  Ngawharau sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kimmey lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Kimmey clinches his opponent.  Kimmey pushes his forearm into Ngawharau's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kimmey.  
Kimmey is looking to close the distance.  Ngawharau throws a right hook, but Kimmey holds on to his opponent.  Kimmey throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Kimmey and breaks the clinch.  
Kimmey lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  Kimmey clinches his opponent.  Kimmey leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Kimmey's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kimmey lands a left uppercut.  
Kimmey forces Ngawharau to retreat onto the ropes.  Kimmey lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.

Ngawharau throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a HUGE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE NGAWHARAU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ngawharau recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
