Cody Aplaon vs Lewis Buckley

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at AIS Arena, Canberra,  taking place on 27/08/2030:

Clearly JSW have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cody Aplaon (15(8) - 1 - 1) who hails from General Trias, Philippines and Lewis Buckley(6 - 11 - 5) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Aplaon and Buckley weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charles Battaglia, and the three ringside judges are Danny McCornack, Brad Hewitt and Charles Battaglia.  

Round 1: 

Aplaon gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Aplaon ties up his opponent.  Aplaon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Aplaon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Aplaon and breaks the clinch.
