Gennady Galey vs Ioakim Goncharov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ukraine-Kharkiv Oblast promoted show at Kharkiv Garin, Kharkiv,  taking place on 01/09/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ukraine-Kharkiv Oblast Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gennady Galey (18(4) - 10(2)) who hails from Kharkiv, Ukraine and Ioakim Goncharov(17 - 11(3) - 4) from Kharkiv, Ukraine.  Galey weighed in at 235 pounds and 11 ounces, while Goncharov weighed in at 238 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fedor Volosin, and the three ringside judges are Kyrylo Petrus, Kolya Tyukalov and Dimi Filas.  

Round 1:

It looks like Goncharov has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Galey knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Galey lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND GONCHAROV IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  Goncharov now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
