Chris Irish vs James Catanach

Boxing Daily Report from the Bimi Promotions promoted show at Jordan Panter Gym, Augusta,  taking place on 02/09/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Georgia Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Irish (7 - 20(1) - 5) who hails from Atlanta, USA and James Catanach(18 - 4(2) - 1) from Savannah, USA.  Irish weighed in at 217 pounds, while Catanach weighed in at 236 pounds And 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Arnie Curtis, and the three ringside judges are Mark Billie, Chris Troupe and Dai Gibson.  

Round 1:

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Irish.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
