Amon Lagelu vs Aaron Ochefu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kaduna State promoted show at Kaduna Alozie, Kaduna,  taking place on 06/09/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kaduna State Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amon Lagelu (18 - 0) who hails from Zaria, Nigeria and Aaron Ochefu(13 - 13 - 1) from Zaria, Nigeria.  Both Lagelu and Ochefu weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Julius Adesanya, and the three ringside judges are Mudashiru Akanji, Antwan Okonkwo and Elderson Obasanjo.  

Round 1: 

Lagelu closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Ochefu sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lagelu lands two jabs followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lagelu steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Lagelu lands a left uppercut.  Lagelu tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lagelu is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Lagelu lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lagelu advances into close range and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lagelu is on target with a right hook.  
Ochefu is looking to keep his distance.  Lagelu lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Lagelu sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Ochefu throws a right hook, but Lagelu ties up his opponent.  Lagelu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lagelu lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Lagelu clinches his opponent.  Lagelu pushes his forearm into Ochefu's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lagelu.  
Lagelu sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Lagelu gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Lagelu lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  Lagelu holds on to his opponent.  Lagelu uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Ochefu's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lagelu.  
Lagelu walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Lagelu lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Lagelu lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lagelu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Lagelu lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lagelu sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ochefu steps to the outside.  Lagelu feints a jab, but Ochefu does not fall for it and responds with a right uppercut.  
Lagelu hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Lagelu advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Lagelu closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lagelu hits home with a right hook.  
Ochefu connects with a cross.  
Lagelu steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ochefu's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Ochefu's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Ochefu's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Round 2: 

Lagelu sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Lagelu attempts to land a left uppercut, but Ochefu sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Lagelu forces Ochefu to back into the ropes.  Lagelu drives a left hook into Ochefu's ribs.  As Lagelu tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
