Morgan Masker vs Gregor Aries

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Manitoba promoted show at Paul Clingan Gym, Winnipeg,  taking place on 16/08/2030:

Clearly AI Canada-Manitoba have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Manitoba Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Morgan Masker (8 - 8) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and Gregor Aries(6(1) - 0) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Both Masker and Aries weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Kidd, and the three ringside judges are Kieran Rusk, Mike Allen and Wayne Pique.  

Round 1: 

Aries steps inside.  Aries pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Aries steps inside.  Masker throws a right hook, but Aries holds on to his opponent.  Aries is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Aries lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Aries holds on to his opponent.  Aries tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Masker's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Aries digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Aries tries to land a jab, but Masker slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Aries closes the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Aries lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Aries walks Masker into the blue corner.  Aries sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Aries lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Aries holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Aries pivots to the right of his opponent.  Aries digs in a right uppercut to Masker's ribcage.  Aries ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Masker pushes his forearm into Aries's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Masker to stop fouling.  
Aries pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Aries lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Aries clinches his opponent.  Aries is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Aries sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Aries digs in a left hook to Masker's liver.  
Masker tries to land a jab, but Aries dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Masker gets on the inside.  Aries lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Masker hits home with a cross.  
Masker quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Aries throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Aries's ribcage.  
Aries closes the distance.  Aries pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Aries has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Masker pivots to the right of his opponent.  Aries lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Aries clinches his opponent.  Masker uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Aries's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Aries gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Aries forces Masker to back into the ropes.  Aries pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Aries lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Aries lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Aries is on target with a left hook.  
Masker digs in a right hook to Aries's body.  
Aries manages to force Masker into a neutral corner.  Aries lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Aries pivots from in front of his opponent.  Masker attempts to land a right uppercut, but Aries slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Aries connects with a firm left uppercut.  Aries attempts to land a left hook, but Masker blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Masker's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Aries lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Aries hits home with a solid right hook.  Aries clinches his opponent.  Masker is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Aries's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Aries lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Masker is looking to keep his distance.  Aries feints a jab, but Masker ignores the feint and is on target with a right hook.  
Aries steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Masker steps to the outside.  Aries knows Masker is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Aries lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS MASKER TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Masker now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Aries lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Aries forces Masker to back into the ropes.  Aries pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Masker almost instantly gets his legs back.

Aries pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Aries pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Aries lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Masker dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Aries digs in a firm left hook to Masker's body.  Masker wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Aries dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Aries lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS MASKER TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Masker cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Aries!
