Carlos Montoya vs Xaver Benavidez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at Honduras-Cortes Gym, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 21/08/2030:

Clearly AI Honduras-Cortes have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras-Cortes Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Montoya (3 - 7(1) - 3) who hails from Choloma, Honduras and Xaver Benavidez(5 - 16 - 3) from Choloma, Honduras.  Montoya weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Benavidez weighed in at 147 pounds and 12 ounces.    As Benavidez came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Fidel Llorente, and the three ringside judges are Gonzalo Balasco, Guido Campa and Lorenzo Blandon.
