Diego Dorantes vs Quico Cuello

Boxing Daily Report from the MCK MARBELLA promoted show at Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, Barcelona,  taking place on 05/10/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal + Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Dorantes (21(10) - 12(9) - 1) who hails from Granada, Spain and Quico Cuello(7 - 6) from Murcia, Spain.  Both Dorantes and Cuello weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Pacifico, and the three ringside judges are Oleos Montano, Olindo Mayorga and Diego Barrantes.  

Round 1: 

Dorantes stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Cuello tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Dorantes senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Cuello and just needs the right shot.  Dorantes lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND SENDS CUELLO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Dorantes!
