Hajime Wakabayashi vs Aki Uemura

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Sapporo Imada, Sapporo,  taking place on 22/09/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hajime Wakabayashi (3 - 12 - 4) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Aki Uemura(19(6) - 2) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Wakabayashi and Uemura weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ryuu Ogawa, and the three ringside judges are Yasushi Uyeno, Kyo Kawabata and Kyo Minami.  

Round 1: 

Uemura closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Uemura gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Uemura attempts to land a right uppercut, but Wakabayashi blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Uemura pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Wakabayashi is looking to close the distance.  Uemura lands a right hook.  Uemura clinches his opponent.  Wakabayashi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Uemura cuts off the ring, trapping Wakabayashi in the blue corner.  Uemura lands a right uppercut.
