Sagaz Jaramillo vs Leonardo Mero

Boxing Daily Report from the Manjimela Promotions promoted show at Puebla Games, Puebla,  taking place on 26/08/2030:

Clearly Manjimela Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Puebla Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sagaz Jaramillo (4 - 16 - 3) who hails from Tehuacan, Mexico and Leonardo Mero(7 - 4 - 3) from Puebla, Mexico.  Both Jaramillo and Mero weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xalvador Pimienta, and the three ringside judges are Seferino Leiva, Carlos Angulo and Juan Casares.  

Round 1: 

Mero advances into close range.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Mero has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
