Mark Salmond vs Brin Renton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Prichard, Christchurch,  taking place on 26/09/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Salmond (7 - 5(1)) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Brin Renton(4 - 6 - 2) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Salmond weighed in at 236 pounds and 15 ounces, while Renton weighed in at 245 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is David Neild, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Dallis, Dave Sprouse and Ian Fergerson.
