Xabat Maya vs Michael Manuntag

Boxing Daily Report from the Maghakian Promotions promoted show at Manny Portilla Gym, Cebu City,  taking place on 28/09/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cebu Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xabat Maya (9 - 5) who hails from Lapu-Lapu, Philippines and Michael Manuntag(4 - 2 - 2) from Lapu-Lapu, Philippines.  Both Maya and Manuntag weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Magpatoc, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Yago, Felix Tanopo and Emanuel Pansoy.  

Round 1: 

Maya switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Maya lands a cross.  
Manuntag gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Manuntag ties up his opponent.  Maya uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Manuntag behind the head. As they grapple, Manuntag pushes his forearm into Maya's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Maya pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a jab.

Maya drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Maya attempts to land a jab, but Manuntag sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Maya closes the distance.  Maya pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Manuntag is on target with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Maya's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Manuntag's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

At the end of Round 4, lets listen in on the corners...Manuntag's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Manuntag's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
