Diego Montanez vs Montenegro Beato

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Fantastic Casino de Albrook Mall, Panama City,  taking place on 10/10/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Montanez (11(9) - 1) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Montenegro Beato(15 - 13 - 1) from Bogota, Colombia.  Montanez weighed in at 168 pounds, while Beato weighed in at 167 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Roman Giraldo, and the three ringside judges are Jeraldo Alamillo, Ivan San Jose and Diego Borjas.  

Round 1: 

Montanez gets on the inside and connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Montanez lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Montanez sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Beato throws a left hook, but Montanez clinches his opponent.  Montanez pushes his forearm into Beato's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Montanez about fouling.  
Montanez advances into close range and is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Montanez lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Montanez lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Beato attempts to land a cross, but Montanez sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.

Montanez steps inside and digs in a firm right hook to Beato's body.  
Montanez is looking to close the distance.  Beato throws a left hook, but Montanez holds on to his opponent.  Montanez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Beato throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Montanez manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Montanez lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Montanez sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Montanez lands a spiteful jab.  
Montanez steps inside and is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Beato's body.  
Montanez advances into close range.  Montanez sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Beato throws a left hook, but Montanez holds on to his opponent.  Montanez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Beato's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Beato's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Montanez stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Montanez lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND BEATO IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  
Montanez cuts off the ring, trapping Beato in the corner.  Montanez SLAMS a VICIOUS right hook into his opponents face.  BEATO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Montanez!
