Brett Riddick vs Lakshman Nath

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 16/11/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Asia-Oceania Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Brett Riddick (22(10) - 0) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Lakshman Nath(32(19) - 5 - 1) from Surat, India.  Both Riddick and Nath weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Harvey Dorch, and the three ringside judges are Mike Sproule, Rob Horsburgh and Chris Heretini.  

Round 1: 

Nath advances into close range.  As Nath tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Riddick dabs at his face checking for damage.
