James McGowan vs Inigo Appleton

Boxing Daily Report from the Maximillion McKing promoted show at Kris Magee Gym, Detroit,  taking place on 02/10/2030:

Clearly Maximillion McKing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James McGowan (3 - 7 - 3) who hails from Detroit, USA and Inigo Appleton(12 - 6(1) - 2) from Detroit, USA.  Both McGowan and Appleton weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Duffey, and the three ringside judges are Mark Tew, Sam Vannett and Nick McGowan.  

Round 1: 

Appleton connects with a cross.  
McGowan switches the action to the outside.  McGowan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Appleton lands a jab.  Appleton attempts to land a cross, but McGowan sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Appleton connects with a left hook.

Appleton gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping McGowan on the ropes.  Appleton sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McGowan lands a left hook.
