Jacob Jones vs John Leamon

Boxing Daily Report from the Mudenda Promotions promoted show at Chesapeake Trent, Chesapeake,  taking place on 02/10/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Virginia Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jacob Jones (10(6) - 1) who hails from Richmond, USA and John Leamon(9 - 7 - 3) from Norfolk, USA.  Jones weighed in at 245 pounds and 10 ounces, while Leamon weighed in at 225 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dan Whalen, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Cassidy, Sam Cowper and Zachary Davis.  

Round 1: 

Jones tries to land a jab, but Leamon sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Leamon throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Jones steps to the outside and connects with a solid cross.  
Leamon is looking to close the distance.  Jones pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Leamon steps inside.  Jones lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Jones steps away from his opponent and lands a firm cross.

Jones lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Leamon almost instantly gets his legs back.

Jones lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Jones switches the action to the outside.  Jones sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.

Jones is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Jones hits home with a stinging overhand right.  
Leamon is looking to close the distance.  Jones is on target with a left hook to Leamon's body.  
Jones lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Leamon's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Leamon's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Leamon's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Jones pivots to the side of his opponent.  Leamon attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Jones time to recover.  
Jones is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Jones steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Jones is on target with a hard jab.  
Jones hits home with a stinging cross.  
Leamon is looking to close the distance.  Jones connects with a stinging right hook.  
Jones switches the action to the outside and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Jones is looking to keep his distance and lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jones switches the action to the outside and lands a firm overhand left.  
Jones tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Leamon is on target with a cross.

Jones tries to step out of his opponents range.  Jones feints a left hook, and then is on target with a firm cross.  
Jones lands an overhand left to the head, a jab to the head and a jab to the body.  
Jones is looking to keep the action on the outside and SLAMS a spiteful cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE LEAMON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Jones could be enough to finish Leamon!  Jones lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND LEAMON IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Jones!
