Mark Cairns vs Nick Aries

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Wisconsin promoted show at Milwaukee Evans, Milwaukee,  taking place on 02/10/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Wisconsin Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Cairns (10 - 11(1) - 3) who hails from Green Bay, USA and Nick Aries(16(12) - 5) from Madison, USA.  Cairns weighed in at 117 pounds And 15 ounces, while Aries weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Peart, and the three ringside judges are Dan Fentress, Theo Gwenn and Theo Gwenn.  

Round 1: 

Aries advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Aries lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Aries.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Cairns tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Aries lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cairns throws a left uppercut, but Aries clinches his opponent.  Aries pushes his forearm into Cairns's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Aries to stop fouling.  
Aries advances into close range and walks Cairns into a corner.  Aries quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Cairns throws a left uppercut, but Aries holds on to his opponent.  Aries is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Aries tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Aries lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Cairns steps to the outside.  Cairns quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Aries is looking to close the distance.  As Aries tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cairns dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Aries lands a sharp left hook.  
Aries is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Aries ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Aries pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Aries advances into close range.  Cairns throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Aries's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cairns's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Aries cuts off the ring, trapping Cairns in a corner.  Aries sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Aries throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Aries lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Aries lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Cairns tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.

Aries is on target with a stinging left hook.  Aries ties up his opponent.  Aries tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cairns behind the head. The ref breaks Aries's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Aries attempts to land a left uppercut, but Cairns parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Aries lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Aries lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Aries forces Cairns to back into a neutral corner.  Aries is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cairns's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Cairns's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Aries walks Cairns down, trapping him on the ropes.  Aries drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  
Aries lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cairns is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cairns pivots to the left of his opponent.  Aries lands a solid right hook.  
Aries forces Cairns to retreat into the blue corner.  Aries lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Aries gets on the inside.  Cairns pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cairns throws a right hook, but Aries ties up his opponent.  Aries leans on his opponent using all his weight. Aries uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cairns behind the head. 
Aries throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Aries is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Cairns on the ropes.  Aries lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Aries tries to land a left hook, but Cairns parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Aries sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Cairns's body.
