Michael Leeper vs Ben Ahearne

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkolola Promotions promoted show at Perth Wilson, Perth,  taking place on 16/10/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Leeper (8 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Ben Ahearne(4(2) - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Leeper weighed in at 175 pounds, while Ahearne weighed in at 174 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Antwan Kollias, and the three ringside judges are Antwan Whitehead, James Finocchiaro and Lucas Murdoch.  

Round 1: 

Ahearne feints a jab, and then lands a stinging jab.  
Ahearne steps inside and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Ahearne ties up his opponent.  Ahearne is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ahearne.  
Ahearne lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Ahearne holds on to his opponent.  Ahearne leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ahearne sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Leeper throws a left hook, but Ahearne ties up his opponent.  Ahearne leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Ahearne's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ahearne digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ahearne lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ahearne steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Leeper lands a right uppercut.
