Jamar Nkhana vs Ethan Kani

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson promoted show at Lisimba Kalabula Gym, Ndola,  taking place on 03/10/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zambia-Copperbelt Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jamar Nkhana (5 - 16 - 4) who hails from Kitwe, Zambia and Ethan Kani(4(3) - 2(1)) from Kitwe, Zambia.  Both Nkhana and Kani weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kwau Ndovi, and the three ringside judges are Kwau Kozlowiecki, Faraji Jobe and Kendis Sipula.  

Round 1: 

Kani gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Kani ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kani pushes his forearm into Nkhana's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kani.  
Kani closes the distance.  Nkhana throws a left hook, but Kani clinches his opponent.  Kani leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Kani's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
