Xavion Vara vs Santiago Serpe

Boxing Daily Report from the Chimera Promotions promoted show at Goiania Sereno, Goiania,  taking place on 14/09/2030:

Clearly Chimera Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Goias Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xavion Vara (26(3) - 5) who hails from Goiania, Brazil and Santiago Serpe(14 - 10(1) - 1) from Goiania, Brazil.  Vara weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces, while Serpe weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paco Barbara, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Elias, Zelipe Florio and Hilario Rodrigues.  

Round 1: 

Vara hits home with a cross.  Vara attempts to land a jab, but Serpe slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Vara's ribcage.
