Xaver Casares vs Diego Monico

Boxing Daily Report from the Nabagesera Promotions promoted show at Senon Rodiguez Gym, Mendoza,  taking place on 14/10/2030:

Clearly Nabagesera Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Mendoza Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xaver Casares (13 - 10 - 3) who hails from Mendoza, Argentina and Diego Monico(10 - 12 - 6) from Mendoza, Argentina.  Casares weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces, while Monico weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Cardoso, and the three ringside judges are Onofre Ciervo, Onofre Ciervo and Santiago Leon.  

Round 1: 

Monico advances into close range.  Casares pivots to the right of his opponent.  Monico lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Casares switches the action to the outside.  Monico attempts to land a jab, but Casares slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Monico steps inside.  Monico drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Monico dabs at his face checking for damage.
