Vili Makinen vs Sauli Soimakallio

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Uusimaa promoted show at Pirkkola Ball Hall, Helsinki,  taking place on 26/10/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Finland-Uusimaa Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vili Makinen (15(13) - 0) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Sauli Soimakallio(5 - 3 - 3) from Vantaa, Finland.  Makinen weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces, while Soimakallio weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Valtteri Laitila, and the three ringside judges are Armas Korpela, Tuomas Aulis and Justus Tuomioja.  

Round 1: 

Makinen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.

Makinen is looking to keep his distance.  Makinen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Makinen lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Soimakallio's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Soimakallio's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Soimakallio's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Makinen is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Makinen lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES SOIMAKALLIO!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Soimakallio now seems to have got his legs back.  
Makinen feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head, AND SOIMAKALLIO IS DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Soimakallio cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Makinen!
