Giles Lenoir vs Henri Aime

Boxing Daily Report from the Afrifa Promotions promoted show at Sorrel Etonge Gym, Yaoundé,  taking place on 14/10/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cameroon-Centre Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Giles Lenoir (16 - 11(1) - 3) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Henri Aime(19(1) - 6) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Both Lenoir and Aime weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carolus Bourdelle, and the three ringside judges are Tyson Nguekam, Quincy de Musset and Waltier Dewaere.  

Round 1: 

Lenoir is looking to keep his distance and throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Lenoir's ribcage.  
Aime advances into close range.  Aime quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Lenoir steps to the outside.  Aime is on target with a jab.  
Lenoir tries to land a cross, but Aime dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Aime hits home with a firm cross.  
Aime is looking to close the distance.  Aime sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Aime steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Lenoir tries to step out of his opponents range.  Aime quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Aime closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Aime closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  Aime throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lenoir's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Lenoir's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
