Santiago Placido vs Cortez Marquina

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Villaflor, Mexico City,  taking place on 07/02/2021:

Clearly AI Mexico-Distrito Federal have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Placido (7 - 0 - 1) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Cortez Marquina(5 - 0 - 3) from Guadalupe, Mexico.  Both Placido and Marquina weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Landaverde, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Herran, Xavion Borra and Jose Santander.
