Guillermo Montera vs Luis Arvelo

Boxing Daily Report from the Bamfokwakye Promotions promoted show at Porfio Saez Gym, Reynosa,  taking place on 25/09/2030:

Clearly Bamfokwakye Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Guillermo Montera (14 - 10(1) - 2) who hails from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and Luis Arvelo(7(5) - 1) from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.  Montera weighed in at 200 pounds And 11 ounces, while Arvelo weighed in at 200 pounds.    As Montera came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Isidro Morena, and the three ringside judges are Angel Albo, Francisco Rigor and Santiago Badia.

Arvelo advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.

Arvelo connects with a VICIOUS left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MONTERA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Montera almost instantly gets his legs back.

Montera steps away from his opponent.  Montera lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Arvelo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Montera throws a right hook, but Arvelo ties up his opponent.  Arvelo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Arvelo manouvers Montera into the corner.  Arvelo lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND MONTERA IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Montera quickly recovers. 
Arvelo is on target with a big left uppercut.  MONTERA IS HURT!  
Arvelo is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Arvelo lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head, AND MONTERA IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Montera now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Arvelo lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Arvelo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Arvelo lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Arvelo closes the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Montera is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Arvelo closes the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Arvelo lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Arvelo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Arvelo holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Arvelo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
