Billy Abbey vs Ashley Maddix

Boxing Daily Report from the Slick Rick Promotions promoted show at Manukau Katipa, Manukau,  taking place on 25/10/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Billy Abbey (7 - 14(1) - 5) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Ashley Maddix(20 - 13(7)) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Abbey weighed in at 167 pounds and 12 ounces, while Maddix weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Mostyn, and the three ringside judges are Robert Haturini, Hamahona Kurawhatia and Kenzie Anderson.  

Round 1: 

Abbey gets on the inside.  Maddix pivots to the left of his opponent.  Maddix lands a left hook.  Maddix clinches his opponent.  Abbey uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Maddix behind the head. Maddix is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Maddix about fouling.  
Maddix is on target with a left uppercut.  
Maddix lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Maddix clinches his opponent.  Maddix uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Abbey's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Abbey steps to the outside.  Maddix lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Maddix is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Maddix ties up his opponent.  Maddix uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Abbey's kidney. Abbey is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Abbey and breaks the clinch.
